Abstract art can take the form of painting or sculpture that does depict a person, place or thing in natural world, even in extremely distorted or overdone way. The abstract art uses a visual language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world.
Abstract art began in 1911 with such works as ' picture with circle ' by Russian artist, Wassily Kandinsky, which he believe that color provoked emotions, such as 'red was lively and confident', green was peaceful with inner strength and others. Kandinsky titles often refer to the color in the composition or to music, for example ' compisition '.
