these  awesome realistic animal painting are made by Ester Van Hulsen (1981) a paleo artist and wildlife  illustrator from Netherland. she has been working as a professional wildlife artist since she finished an art school in Holland in 2004. she has been participating in the birds in art exhibition and is currently illustrating on her fourth books.

Ester uses water color, guoache, acrylic, pen and pencil and tries to put as much detail in her animal painting as possible. her focus is on wildlife, living and extinct. to achieve this Ester does a lot of anatomy studies, she has great connections with the zoos and wildlife park in Norway, where's she cand study about the animal. Ester also works closely with together with professor Jon Hurum, to reconstructing fossils and illustrating books for him.

at this time, body painting became an interesting art in a whole world. there are so many unique and amazing  body painting, one of them is the works of  Tina Merry. she is a professional body painting artist from California, that makes a different body painting from other by making the model with the immersive nature scenery around it.

 

ranging from scenic playgrounds, the buildings, New-york skyline, she painted and detailed in the body of the models. she got this idea after her friend ask her  about the meaning of New-york city for her. then when she walked around the street of New-york she was thinking to make the city more attractive in a body painting artwork. the difficulty of making this body painting is located on perspective and details to be drawn afterwards so that painting over the model's body can be blend perfectly with the surrounding scenery. to make this painting she need 2,5 hours and requires very high concentrations.

Jamie Homeister, artist from Indiana is the one of  the artist who use a unique media to paint. she utilitiez strands of feathers that have been separated and unused as a medium to pour a variety of amazing and exotic painting about nature. by making this feathers painting she feel  close to nature.

her works need a patience and diligence. perhaps a cursory painting above these feathers looks so easy to do, but there are its own complexities, for example there is a painting that she created over the braided feathers first. besides used a natural media, her paintings object also about nature, such as birds or mammals wild forest.

surely you've seen the clouds and imagine something figure that clouds form. but Martin Feijoo ( Tincho ) not just imagine, he even realize  his imagination on painting. yes, Martin successfully painting above the clouds. even by some of media called him a " Cloud Shaper". 

from his childhood memories of clouds forms, Martin started his project which he gave the tittle " The shaping cloud project" . he started the project perfomance while he's on a trip to Mexico, where he saw the clumps of clouds and then he took a picture. forms, which first appeared in his imagination he will direct painting above the clouds photos. the clouds are painted on a special table that was given illumination so it is easy to paint. there are so many forms of clouds he paint, such as a turtle, chicken, T-rex, Charles Darwin and others.

Balinese mask, traditional art that rich in character

mask into the main device in the mask dance, drama dance Balinese art.in each mask dance, performers or dancers, perform with special clothing and wearing  a mask. the mask used by dancers shows her character in a show. stories presented in the mask dance is usually derived from the history (chronicles ) or legends stories.

based on the social strata of the play that displayed the mask can be  classified into several types, namely : hard mask ( figure brawler), old mask ( figure elder), bondres mask ( figure ordinary), and queen mask ( nobility). in addition there are also a special mask such as "Calonarang mask" with ugly figure who is simbol a crime, "Jauk mask" wich is intermediate figure between human and giant, " Telek mask " almost the same with jauk mask but with a more refined figure.

Balinese mask made of wood, usually using wood ylang and pulle. in making this Balinese mask through several stages carving into the form of perfect mask. other than that, there's a certain grip to be followed in the depiction of the nature of the significant figure the mask, it makes the mask crafters must have a specific expertise and a deep knowledge of the story and the character of the mask dance drama.
