These are the beautiful mosaic art from rice grain made by Vietnamese artist Duong Huu Cuong. Subject of their art  mainly portraits, traditional landscapes, animals. Each work of art begins with the choice of palette, which consists of basic four colors – white, yellow, brown and black. Rice grains are selected carefully according to colors and size. Creating a beautiful rice painting requires lots of devotion and patience. It takes from six to twelve days to create a rice grain painting of 80cm x120cm. It's started with skecth of the future picture is applied to the base with a pencil, then grafts the colored grains with glue on the wooden frame to fit to the draft design. The most important step is to combine the colors of the grains in a harmonious way so that when matching together they will turn out a desired artwork. The final step is to dry the painting under the sun to make the grains attach and the painting more shiny and more vivid. It also helps protect the painting.

Luigi Benedicenti hyperrealistic food paintings

Italian artist Luigi Benedicenti was born in Torino in 1948  is a photorealist painter. Luigi recognized for his seductive representations of sweets, pastries, and other still life compositions. He has created hyper realistic paintings of delicious food – from cakes and berries to fruits and ice-cream. Luigi’s sensual use of light, reflection, and his invisible brush strokes make his gloss-like paintings seem edible enough to eat.

Kunisaiga, Japanese patchwork art

Kinusaiga is a patchwork art with  traditional technique , the artist uses little pieces of Japanese kimono's silk pressing one by one , forming a silk mosaic. Kinusaiga also create from combination of several techniques – patchwork and batik, and even wood carving, or painting on wood with pieces of silk. And the pictures are created from recycled materials. Master Maeno Takashi – professor at the University is the founder of the Kinusaiga art. Pictures made in Kinusaiga technique look very realistic and resemble living pictures. Fine silk, perfectly matched in color and texture, creates a volume effect. Fantasy of authors has no limit – cityscape, wildlife landscapes, still lifes, flowers, people.

Kevin Gordon is an Australian glass art who was born in Norway. In 1980 Kevin's family immigrated to Australia where he trained as a glass engraver under the tuition of his parents, both qualified, internationally renowned. Kevin's work involves the fusing of layers of glass, with engravings and lenses to trap and transmit light and colour. His art is informed by his interest and study of fractals and the Mandelbrot Theory, and the resonance of these patterns and designs as found in nature .

miniature sculpture from washi paper

Japanese paper artist Kyoko Hazama creates cute miniature sculptures out of washi paper which is used in many traditional arts of Japan. This traditional Japanese paper (washi) made from the fibers of the bark of a Japanese tree (gampi), shrub (mitsumata), and various plants and grasses (hemp, rice, wheat, bamboo), a sturdier paper than those crafted from wood pulp. Kyoko’s miniature paper people and animals reflect also her extraordinary technical abilities as a paper artist, doll-maker, and sculptor. Every sculpture begins with an idea drawn in a sketch. Using different colors of paper, layer by layer Kyoko Hazama constructs her cartoon-like figurines. Kyoko manipulates her materials to create the look and feel of real animal fur, antlers and horns, and the velvetines of young human skin

Eric Standley amazing paper cut art

American artist Eric Standley, create an amazing intricate paper cut. Eric was inspired by Gothic geometry and Islamic architectural ornamentation, but still he has his unique individual style. Eric uses lots of layers of paper, hundred and more, roughly 1.75” deep from surface to center in order to achieve their peacefully meditative forms. The center is comprised of drawings on top of drawings with space between the two. Compositional goals are shared between these layers, but are simultaneously unique. Brilliant technique and glorious color. Elegant simplicity looks classic and precious.
