Aelia Petro - a graphic artist from Ontario, Canada. She worked in various kinds of art, but recently branched out to create a custom jewelry mostly marine mammals and fantasy related. And with her imagination Aelia create unique jewelry dragon-shaped, like the dragon necklaces, bracelets, rings, hair clips, brooches, magnet - you name it! Each is unique and entirely hand carved and hand painted piece made of polymer clay.

eugene fromentin paintings

French painter and author, Eugène Fromentin,(October 24, 1820 – August 27, 1876) , best known for his depictions of the land and people of Algeria. Fromentin inspired by Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot and Eugène Delacroix, Fromentin abandoned his early stiffness in design and execution and developed into a brilliant colourist. “Fauconnier arabe” and “Chasse au héron” clearly show his debt to Delacroix. Fromentin’s paintings show only one side of a talent that was perhaps even more felicitously expressed in literature; “Dominique,” first published in the Revue des Deux Mondes in 1862 and dedicated to George Sand, is remarkable among the fiction of the century for imaginative observation.

Bas relief and wood carving by Dyke Roskelley

Talented US artist Dyke Roskelley is a western artists skilled in drawing, painting, sculpting and wood carving. He loves to create large Bas Relief Wood Carvings, but also offers drawings, prints, gun stock carvings and more. Dyke draws all his own artwork that he then carves from using power carving tools and hand tools as well. He also does all his own wood bleaching and staining of all his woodcarving projects

Wood carving is a form of art with a wood as a material and by  cutting tools (knife) in one hand or a chisel with both hands and with one hand in one hand chisel and hammer, so that the wooden figure or statue, or in ornaments sculpture of wooden objects.
