The human body especially female body is central to how we understand facets of identity such as gender, sexuality, race, and ethnicity. Around this time, the body took on another important role as a medium with which artists created their work. In performance art, a term coined in the early 1960s as the genre was starting to take hold, the actions an artist performs are central to the work of art. For many artists, using their bodies in performances became a way to both claim control over their own bodies and to question issues of gender.

Vangelis Sotiriou is talented self-taught painter artist from Thessaloniki, Greek. Vangelis creates incredibly touching drawing portraits. Vangelis  had a painting workshop for many years and in those years he  did many public works mainly oil paintings on canvas and stained glass. He work with decorators for housing investment with paintings.

Tania Radda create faboulus wood sculptures take on lifelike forms derived from nature, where insects, plants and animals are presented in larger scale, enabling the viewer to experience a different perspective. The work has a cartoonish quality at times, which reflects her love for the world of cartoons and fantasy- a world where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, where clichés are explored, and where the absurd becomes the norm. Tania have always been fascinated with mankind’s persistence in exploring the natural wonders of this world. She enjoy reading and exploring books about plants, animals, and any kind of life. Tania  find that by sculpting these pieces, she can continue to explore and study these wonderful life forms.
